Dear Health Information Champion,
CyncHealth Iowa, the designated statewide health information exchange for Iowa, is announcing the recruitment of additional board members for the CyncHealth Iowa Board of Directors. CyncHealth Iowa is seeking to enhance the board with individuals who can share valuable insights and expertise on a range of health data interoperability topics discussed. We are reaching out to current CyncHealth Iowa participants for recommendations and support to further the interoperability foundation in Iowa.
We are seeking individuals with clinical experience in a variety of settings (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, long-term care, etc.), nursing, radiology, executive leadership, finance specialists, and payer representatives to complete a diverse demographic of Board representation from across the state of Iowa, representing both urban and rural perspectives. Professionals from various disciplines who have an interest in health data to promote better patient care and outcomes across the state are encouraged to apply.
Baseline expectations as a board member consist of attending monthly board meetings held virtually, maintaining confidentiality, and actively participating in all board activities. Terms for board members are two years each, with a maximum of three terms.
To ensure sufficient opportunity for interested parties, we have created the application form below, which is accessible from May 24, 2024 to June 30, 2024. Please complete the application form and share this page with individuals whom you believe would be interested and would make valuable contributions to this board.
Selected members will be notified for further consideration on or before June 30th and invited to an executive interview during June or July. This interview will take up to thirty minutes and will give applicants a chance to discuss the board’s responsibilities and interests and ask any questions.
