OMAHA, NE, January 5th, 2026 – CyncHealth, the Nebraska-based non-profit organization, announces that Dr. Larra Petersen-Lukenda has assumed the role of interim Chief Executive Officer of CyncHealth, overseeing the health technology organization’s operations. After serving the organization for over 8 years, Dr. Bland stepped down as CEO at the end of December 2025. As a national search is conducted, Dr. Bland will serve as a consultant to the organization during this transition period.

Dr. Petersen-Lukenda will work closely with CyncHealth’s senior leadership and the Board of Directors to continue advancing interoperability and improving healthcare. Dr. Petersen-Lukenda notes, “Dr. Bland has had a significant impact on the organization’s growth and trajectory, and we look forward to continuing our impactful work for public, population, and community health.”
