August 18, 2025

Omaha, NE (08/18/25) – Harris, who joined CyncHealth in January 2024 as Information Security Manager, advanced quickly to VP and CISO in May 2024. Over the past year, he has been pivotal in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture and refining infrastructure to ensure secure, connected health data for communities across Nebraska, Iowa, and the surrounding region.

Under Harris’s leadership, CyncHealth also achieved two significant security and compliance milestones: SOC 2 Type II attestation and HITRUST certification in December 2025. These accomplishments underscore the organization’s commitment to safeguarding sensitive health information and ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards. Both achievements reflect Harris’s strategic guidance in building and executing robust security frameworks that instill trust among patients, providers, and partners.

With more than 15 years of IT leadership, Harris is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with deep expertise in cloud security, development, and operations. Since July 2025, he has supported broader departmental leadership, combining technical skills, institutional knowledge, and strategic insight to lead CyncHealth’s technical strategy at a critical growth stage.

“I am honored to step into the role of chief information officer (CIO) at CyncHealth,” Harris said. “Over the past 18 months, I’ve witnessed the incredible work this organization does to make health data more accessible, secure, and impactful. I look forward to building on that momentum—strengthening our technical foundation and advancing innovative solutions that serve patients, providers, and communities.”
