OMAHA, Neb. (August 31, 2026) – Following a national search, the CyncHealth Board of Directors selected Larra Petersen-Lukenda, Ph.D., M.A. as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). After serving as Interim CEO since December 2025, Dr. Petersen-Lukenda will assume the permanent role beginning August 31 and continue advancing CyncHealth’s mission.

She has proven success in her interim capacity and the full Board looks forward to the continued partnership as we embark on the next chapter of the organization,” says Dr. Michael White, Board Chair.
Dr. Petersen-Lukenda has been with CyncHealth since 2020, serving as Chief Population Health Officer and leading a team of clinical and data experts in building the foundation for CyncHealth’s data-driven approach to population health. She also served as Chief Operating Officer for the Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative and the Midwest Institute for Community Health (MICH), part of the CyncHealth enterprise, focusing on use of real-time health data for public health insights and research advancement. Dr. Petersen-Lukenda has spent her career bridging the gap between data and healthcare with informed, innovative solutions.
