NEHII/KPI HIMSS

OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 20, 2020  – Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NEHII), one of the most advanced health information exchanges (HIEs) on a bold mission to be the enabler of population health, and KPI Ninja, a leading health care technology company known for its comprehensive population health analytics, announced today that they will be presenting at the 2020 HIMSS Global Health Conference on Monday, March 9 at 10 a.m. in Orlando, Fla.

“HIEs found their way into our health care system because of the technical capabilities related to the exchange of health care data at the bedside,” said Jaime Bland, CEO of NEHII. “While delivering on this use case is of value to stakeholders, it has proven to not be the sole mechanism of long-term sustainability… until now.

“This is where we come in.”

The session, provided by Bland and Vineeth Yeddula of KPI Ninja, will explore how using advanced analytics is revolutionizing the HIE space by delivering insights to ease the burden for payers and providers as well as accelerating the improvement of outcomes. You’ll discover the unique approach to leveraging existing data sources, designing a population health analytics infrastructure and improving clinical outcomes that are aligned to value-based financial reimbursement. This session demonstrates not only the ample opportunity that exists for HIEs, but also proves the concept that HIEs are the solution to enabling value-based care and population health.

“Value-based care is the future of our health care system and stakeholders everywhere are looking for better ways to be successful with this new way of operating,” said Yeddula. “We believe HIEs are the solution to enabling value-based care broadly in our nation. Last year, we had a monumental year demonstrating these capabilities with NEHII.”
