Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative Announces Endowed Chair
Liaquat Hossain, PhD named Endowed Chair at the University of Nebraska at Kearney
La Vista, NE, 1/14/2022 – The Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative, powered by CyncHealth, (NHC or Collaborative) is excited to announce Liaquat Hossain, PhD, as the Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative Population Health Endowed Chair at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) in the College of Business and Technology.
The endowed chair will direct efforts to advance population health research in the state of Nebraska with the goal of improving healthcare delivery for individuals and advance population health science. Leveraging the talent and experience of UNK, Hossain will identify, lead, and promote projects with faculty members and students.
On the appointment, Hossain said, “I’m excited to work with CyncHealth and other healthcare organizations to develop educational and research programs that support the state’s public health workforce and positively influence policy development and health outcomes for all Nebraskans.”
Dr. Ann Polich, CyncHealth Chief Medical Officer and NHC Executive Director stated, “The Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative, powered by CyncHealth, is thrilled to partner with Dr. Hossain to empower a future workforce that is health data informed to continue to grow and empower the health data utility.”
