Health Data Belongs to the Patient
My CyncHealth, by CyncHealth, provides Nebraskans access to their health information across participating providers
La Vista, NE (3/23/2022) – CyncHealth is committed to democratizing health data and placing ownership back in the hands of the citizens of Nebraska.
Today, CyncHealth announced that the organization will provide Nebraskans access to their health data through My CyncHealth, a web-based application that brings an individual’s health information from multiple providers into one place to be accessed and used as they see fit.
Nebraskans have a variety of healthcare visits, e.g. to their primary care doctor, a specialist, and pharmacy visits. Health information from each of their visits is shared by the healthcare system/clinic. CyncHealth connects health data across the state and makes it accessible to each participating provider, hospital, doctor’s office, pharmacy, etc. My CyncHealth will provide each Nebraskan, and those who receive care in Nebraska, their health information from all these visits in one place.

My CyncHealth is currently being tested through a small population of volunteers and will be released to the public in the second quarter of 2022.
Through My CyncHealth Nebraskans, and those who receive care in Nebraska, will have access their health information that has been generated at a healthcare entity that participates with CyncHealth. At release, users will be able to:
- Access comprehensive medication history from all reporting pharmacies
- View immunization records
- View lab results
- Self-screen and -refer for social and community resources
In future updates, users will:
- Have their data from primary care/specialist visits
- Be able to connect their children/guardians to their account for easy access to approved health information
My CyncHealth will be available to any Nebraska citizen or those who receive care in Nebraska. Individuals who create an account will complete an identity verification process, which ensures they are accessing their health information and not another citizen’s information. All health information displayed comes from:
- CyncHealth participating healthcare entities (i.e. the healthcare entity shares data through CyncHealth with other authorized participants)
- State of Nebraska, Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)
- State of Nebraska, Nebraska State Immunization Information System (NESIIS)
- CyncHealth’s social determinants of health referral platform
